Wind Energy Technology: TSTC's Wind Energy Technology program prepares students for careers as Wind Turbine Technicians, focusing on the skills needed to work in turbine construction, manufacturing, and maintenance. The curriculum includes training in digital fundamentals, supervisory controls and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, wind turbine materials, electromechanical equipment, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Graduates can pursue roles in various sectors of the wind energy industry.
Electromechanical Technology: The Electromechanical Technology program at TSTC offers education in designing, repairing, and servicing technical equipment. PLC programming, pump and compressor functions, and electrical power and theory. This program equips graduates with the skills needed for careers in automation and technical equipment maintenance
Building Construction Technology: The Building Construction Technology program offers hands-on training in residential and commercial construction. Students learn to read blueprints, understand structural systems, and apply OSHA regulations. The curriculum covers areas such as concrete work, building codes, and inspections. Graduates are prepared for various roles in the construction industry, including positions as contractors!
