We’re thrilled to have you join us for New Student Orientation, your first step toward a one-of-a-kind college experience and an amazing career! Here’s what’s in store:

Location: LRC Learning Resource Center (Building on the right side of campus at the very end)

What to Bring: Yourself, a notebook (optional), and any device (laptop/phone) if you’d like to use it to set up your Canvas and Workday access. 

What You’ll Experience:

• Campus Life 101: Get the scoop on dorms, bookstore, and everything you need to feel at home.
• Success Toolkit: Learn key tips for academic success and how to access resources like tutoring, advising, and support services.
• Tech Crash Course: Master the tools you’ll use every day. We will walk you through Workday, Canvas, email, and more. 
• Meet Your Instructors: Chat with your program faculty in a casual meet-and-greet and get insider advice about your courses.
• Tour Time: Explore your learning spaces—classrooms, labs, and study spots—with a guided campus tour.

Extras: 

Enjoy light refreshments, connect with fellow new students, and grab some TSTC goodies to kick off your journey in style.
