Description
Join us for a FAFSA Workshop at TSTC in North Texas, where our team will provide free, hands-on assistance with the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 financial aid applications. Open to the community, this event is the perfect opportunity for students and families to get expert help completing their financial aid applications. If you are a new or prospective student, our Admissions Advisors will also be available for tours of the campus and Enrollment Coaches can also assist with registration while you are here!

- Who can attend the FAFSA Workshop?
This event is open to the entire community! Students, parents, and anyone needing assistance with the 25-26 or 26-27 FAFSA are welcome to attend.
- What should I bring to the FAFSA Workshop?
To complete your FAFSA, bring:
- Your Social Security Number
- Your 2023 tax returns, W-2s, and other income information (for the 25-26 FAFSA)
- Your 2024 tax returns, W-2s, and other income information (for the 26-27 FAFSA)
- Your FSA ID (both student & parent should create one at studentaid.gov beforehand)
- Parent financial information (if you are a dependent student)
- Your personal laptop (optional)
- Do I need to register in advance?
Your RSVP is highly encouraged to help us know how many staff to have in attendance.
- How long will it take to complete my FAFSA?
It varies, but most students can complete their FAFSA in 30-60 minutes with assistance.
- Can parents or guardians attend?
Yes! Parents or guardians are encouraged to come, especially if their financial information is needed.
- What if I already started my FAFSA but need help finishing it?
That’s exactly what we’re here for! Bring your login information, and we’ll help you complete your application.
- What if I don’t qualify for financial aid?
Even if you think you may not qualify, submitting the FAFSA is still important! Many scholarships and grants require a completed FAFSA.
